We're excited to introduce a new Attendance Analysis section in EAZ MAG!

Building on our existing Attendance reports; Summary, Detailed, and Whole School, this new feature lets you easily compare your school's attendance with National and Local Authority data for overall attendance, total absence, authorised and unauthorised absence. It's perfect for identifying trends, spotting patterns, and supporting those all-important deeper dives into attendance across the school and within each year group.

We're also pleased to announce that EAZ MAG is now being developed for use in a local Virtual School setting. This version will include all the familiar time-saving features and powerful functionality you know from EAZ MAG, adapted specifically for the needs of Virtual Schools. We're keen to offer this to other Virtual Schools across the country, so if you know someone working in this area of education, please spread the word!

We’ve recently supported several schools in using EAZ MAG to assess and track progress within their trust’s 0–18 'Through Curriculum'. EAZ MAG's flexibility means we can easily tailor the system to match this approach; ensuring seamless tracking from early years right through to post-16. If your school or trust is developing something similar, we'd love to help.

Did you know EAZ MAG can automatically synchronise with your school’s Management Information System (MIS)? Using WONDE to facilitate the transfer, this feature removes the hassle of manual updates; keeping pupil details, new starters, leavers, and factor groups fully up to date each night. We're currently developing a new feature that will allow EAZ MAG to complete the DfE EYFS Developmental Journey at the click of a button. This will be a real time-saver for all relevant schools and settings. If you have EYFS colleagues or friends who currrently fill this in manually, please share the news!
